Meet Kindness Ambassador

Diandra

Our Kindness Ambassadors are from different walks of life, with different professions but they all have one thing in common: they believe in the power of kindness. Diandra is one of these special people as well as being a professional bowler! How cool is that?! Check out Diandra’s interview below.

Hi, I’m Diandra Asbaty and I live in Chicago. Proud Mother of two(Madden and Jersey) and a professional Bowler who has won over 60 international medals and has been a part of team USA for 15 years.

What drew you to The Good Cards?

It’s everything I believe in and live by.

Why do you think it’s important to be kind?

Kindness conquers. If more people looked out for one another and acted with kindness at all times, everyone would be happier.

What is the kindest thing anyone has done for you? How did it make you feel?

I’m surrounded by kindness. The fans that come out to watch me compete and cheer me on, my family that constantly support me in my career. My coaches, and everyone who has gone out of their way for me— so much kindness in my life!

What is the kindest thing you’ve ever done for anyone? What was your inspiration to do this?

My best friend from high school had a baby with a very rare syndrome. I didn’t know how to be there for her so I decided to pull together a bowling fundraiser called Bowl For Mason in two months. We raised over $18,000 in just that one night of bowling.

Do kind people motivate you to do kind deeds? Tell us about someone that inspires you to be a kinder person.

My kids motivate me to do kind deeds. Because that’s the type of person I want them to be. I want them to go out of their way to brighten others lives. I want them to do things without expecting anything back. I want them to feel how kindness towards others fills you up and creates a powerful movement.

If you feel like you’d like to share your thoughts on kindness and what it means to you, reach out to us at contact@thegoodcards.com and we’d be happy to bring you on board as a Kindness Ambassador. There can never be enough people like this in the world!
